The three-screw pump uses the rotation of the screw to suck and discharge the liquid. Due to the mutual meshing of the screws and the close fit between the screw and the inner wall of the liner, the suction port and the discharge port of the pump will be separated into one or more seals. space. Three-screw pumps are widely used in petroleum, electric power, chemical fiber, shipbuilding, metallurgy, glass, machinery, machine tools, highways and other industries. It is suitable for conveying fuel oil, hydraulic oil, lubricating oil, asphalt, crude oil and other lubricating liquids like oil.
For intermittent operation with high pressure and low viscosity, poor quality lubricating media or similar media, the actual life of the pump will be shortened. We recommend checking every once in a while to see if the working conditions are within the specified range.
1. Start
(1) Check the tightness of all pipeline flanges and joints before starting, and ensure that they are tight and leak-proof.
(2) Rotate the coupling to check whether the rotation of the pump is flexible.
(3) When starting for the first time, unscrew the oil plug of the safety valve or remove the cover plate, inject the conveying liquid into the pump, and turn the coupling counterclockwise by hand to ensure that each friction pair is sufficiently lubricated.
(4) All valves in the suction and discharge pipelines should be fully opened before starting, and valve closing is strictly prohibited to start. Check that the motor is turning correctly.
(5) After the above preparations are completed, you can turn on the power and start directly.
2. Maintenance.
(1) If the sound of the pump and motor is abnormal (or the pointer of the ammeter rises rapidly), stop immediately and find out the reason.
(2) The outlet pressure shall not exceed the pressure shown on the nameplate of the pump.
(3) The safety valve has been adjusted before production and should not be adjusted at will.
(4) If the pipeline system fails and there is a safe backflow, it should be stopped immediately to eliminate the fault. Generally, the backflow time of the safety valve should not exceed three minutes. If the time is too long, the pulse wave generated by the returning liquid in the pump will cause the pump to vibrate, and even cause the pump to be "seized" and damaged.
(5) Spot leakage at the shaft seal is a normal phenomenon. If the oil leakage is greater than 10 ml/hour, stop the machine to troubleshoot or replace the new sealing element.
(6) In the circuit that controls the operation of the motor, there should be overload protection components. If the pump is "bitten to death", the power supply should be automatically cut off to prevent the motor from burning out.
